About me

Hello! My name is Sofia Piperno. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2021 with a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and a French minor.

 

During Spring 2022, I student taught at The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders. I will soon be certified to teach 7-12th grade Life Sciences.  

 

At UT I was actively involved in addiction research at Dell Medical School with Dr. Marinelli. I was a teaching assistant for an upper division neuroscience course (Analytical Skepticism) as well as working as a tour guide for the University. For the past 4 years, I regularly volunteered at St. David's Medical Center in Austin. After my busy days, I love going back to my apartment and making myself and my friends a nice homemade meal.

During the next 4 years, I will be attending Medical School at UT Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas.
